- Maths and Literacy homework is given out each Monday and should be completed and handed in on the following Monday. Please encourage your child to complete their homework independently each week. The children should also be practising their times tables on Times Tables Rockstars or Hit the Button.
- Spellings – The children are given spellings every Monday in their Literacy group, to practise for the following Monday. Children need to keep these at home to practise and do not need to return them to school.
- Reading – Children should read at home each night for approximately 20 minutes. Their reading record must be signed and the Accelerated Reader test passed for the book to be changed.
- Topic – At the beginning of each half term, children will be given a choice of 9 activities to complete. Children are encouraged to select 3 tasks to be returned at the end of the half term. Topic homework is celebrated at the end of each topic where parents are invited into school to celebrate their achievements.
